How do i send a big book (8 punds) to another person in a different city?

I have sold a book on ebay and the person that bought it payed me already. Now all i need to know is what to do next. All i know so far is that the book needs flat rate shipping. Am i supposed to put it in a box and go to the post office and they will tell me what to do there or what?

any time you want to sell on ebay ,you package your item first. then calclate the shipping using the shipping guide on ebay .then you are able to qoute your buyer an exact amount, In your case you should get a good box from the P.O. and wrap the book carefully in paper so it doesn’t shift during transit. That way you pr otect the edges. you must remember to tell the P.O. it is a book ,you get a special ,lower rate.Good luck
