Is there any legal issues with starting a computer repair service?

My friend and i want to start a computer repair service, we are not renting a place to house a shop. We know how to do the taxes, but do we need to have a business license for this service? is there any other legal issues you need to take consideration for?

I suggest having a group of lawyers by your side in case you get sued or screwed by a customer.
