how would I hook up a dvd/vcr combo to a 42inch lcd flat screen?

have a dvd/vcr combo.I have lcd flat screen which is hooked to a hd dvr cable source. How do I hook the combo dvd/vcr to which ever one.PS: dvd/ vcr combo is not a new one.
